Sewickley Car Store Donates BMW to Local Charities By Linda Mathesius, staff writer 
A departure from typical charity programs.We at Sewickley Car Store wanted to do some good for our community by helping local charities. So we took a departure from the usual charity drive, and teamed up with CBS Radio in a campaign that provides maximum exposure to several local nonprofits. In this unique program, the favorite charities of all four local CBS radio stations are competing for the BMW 2-year lease that we are donating to the winning charity to use in their fundraising. In an added twist from the usual competition, the participating radio stations each will also award a “Lifetime Experience for Two” to the winning listeners whose votes will ultimately determine the winning charity. The four charity contenders are the Miracle League of Southwestern PA, the March of Dimes, the National Kidney Foundation, and the Moon Township Rotary Club affiliated with WZPT Star 100.7, B-94, WDSY Y 108 and KDKA, respectively. We are happy to use this opportunity to give back to the community through this friendly competition, which will award our BMW to a well deserving charity. Sewickley Car Store will announce the winning charity in a grand finale event to be hosted in our BMW showroom in September.
